David Malukas signs with McLaren for 2024

David Malukas will move on to Arrow McLaren Racing for the 2024 NTT IndyCar Season.

He takes over the No. 6 Chevrolet vacated by Felix Rosenqvist and presumably for incumbent IndyCar champ Alex Palou before altering course and returning to Chip Ganassi Racing. He will race alongside Pato O’Ward and Alexander Rossi.

The Lithuanian-American competed for Dale Coyne Racing since 2022 having scored two podiums at World Wide Technology Raceway in both seasons. He has raced solidly on the ovals – earning him the nickname “Litt

“I can’t wait to race in papaya next season,” he said. “Arrow McLaren has been a threat to the top contenders all season long, and I’m excited to join the team and see what their Chevrolets can do. Pato and Alexander both know what it takes to win, so it will be fun racing alongside them and learning from them as well.”

Malukas graduated from Indy NXT having finished runner up to Kyle Kirkwood in the 2021 championship on the heels of a record 16 podiums.
